Samsung will come with more waterproof Galaxy A devices next year

Some time ago it became clear that Samsung also wants to offer the Galaxy A series various high-end options. Now a new step becomes clear. The Koreans want to provide the new generation of Galaxy A devices with a waterproof housing.

Galaxy A becomes more waterproof

In the past, Samsung has already released a number of waterproof smartphones in the Galaxy A series. According to the Korean source The Elec, we will see more waterproof mid-ranges from Samsung in 2022, which will be released in the Galaxy A series. It would be an attempt by the manufacturer to better compete with the smartphones of various Chinese brands.

The Galaxy A3 (2017) was waterproof

Not all devices from the Galaxy A series will be equipped with a waterproof design. According to the source, all Galaxy A smartphones from the Galaxy A33 are equipped with an IP certification. It is not yet known which IP certification will be issued for which device. It is quite possible that a distinction is still made between the models. The source also reports that Samsung is simplifying the production process for the back panels of devices. This has the advantage that production costs can be reduced.

In recent times, information has come out about the Galaxy A33, the Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy A73. There are also reports here and there about the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23. It is not yet clear when these models will be announced.
