Samsung rolls out One UI 5.1 for Galaxy Tab S7 and S8 family

Samsung’s various tablets from the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S8 series are updated with a new update. It is the major update to One UI 5.1 with new features and improvements.

It concerns the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series and the Tab S8 models that can receive the update to One UI 5.1, with various improvements and new functions presented to users. In concrete terms, this means that the update can be downloaded for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, Tab S7+, Tab S7 FE, the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and also the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

The One UI 5.1 update brings useful improvements, including specific improvements for tablets. For example, you can now minimize or maximize an app window more quickly by dragging the corners. You can also quickly open your most used apps in a split screen and you can use the improved multitasking in DeX. Samsung is also improving the gallery, where you can create a shared family album with other friends or relatives. You can also search faster in the gallery app and change the color tone of selfies, you have more choices for routines and Samsung has made improvements to the weather widget. Finally, you can continue surfing on another Galaxy device via the Samsung Internet browser.
