The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro is a sturdy yet lightweight tablet with matching features. There is an IP68 classification for dust and water resistance and a MIL-STD-810H certificate. The latter allows the tablet to endure extreme altitudes, temperatures, vibrations and humidity. The device is 10.2 mm thick and weighs 674 grams. The tablet comes with a protective cover and S Pen, bringing the whole to a weight of 833 grams.

Samsung made the tablet for use in a demanding outdoor environment. Think of a busy hospital ward, a noisy construction site or an overcrowded office garden. Thanks to Key Mapping, you can link frequently used apps to buttons so that you can launch them quickly. The 10-inch LCD screen is suitable for use with gloves. And you can hear notifications in a busy work environment by significantly increasing the maximum volume so that you can hear signals loud and clear.
Connecting to an external display via Samsung Dex is also possible, and Knox Platform is also present. The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro is also equipped with a No Battery mode. If you connect the device to the charger, you can use it without interruption, for example when you change the battery. This mode also prevents the battery from being exhausted even in high temperature environments.
The tablet runs on Android 12, but it is not known whether that is Android 12L. We also see a Snapdragon 778G, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage. There is also a removable battery of 7600 mAh and you can make video calls with the 8 MP camera on the front. On the back is a 13 MP camera.

Samsung provides the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro with five years of security updates and three version upgrades, so Android 13, Android 14 and Android 14.
