Samsung rolls out new security patch for Galaxy A50, Note 20, Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A3 (2017)
The manufacturer has prepared an update for several Samsung devices. These are new security patches for the Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy A3 (2017). In addition, an update is distributed to the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A50.
Galaxy Note 20 series is getting update
Henk and Macel announced that a new security patch will be distributed to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in the Netherlands and Belgium. Both smartphones will receive the January 2021 security update. The update for the Note 20 has a size of 169.76MB. As far as known, no further changes are made and Samsung has only implemented the patch as a change.
Galaxy A50
The January update will also be available for the Samsung Galaxy A50, Ricardo tells us. This update has a size of approximately 116MB and can now be downloaded in the Netherlands.
Galaxy A3 (2017)
Rick says there is also an update for the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). The three-year-old model is getting a newer security patch. It had been a while since the smartphone was updated with a new update. This time it concerns security update November 2020. The patches that were previously released and could not yet be found on the A3 have also been implemented.
Galaxy A8
Finally, an update is available for the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). The update is a small 260MB in size and will bring security update December 2020. Again, it seems that only a new security update is being implemented, and no further new functions can be found on the device.
