Samsung is planning a smartphone that has never been seen before

When it comes to developing new ideas for smartphones, Samsung has become one of the most important companies. Now a new development has become known that has never been seen in this form before. Is it really becoming a reality?

Samsung is planning a smartphone with a detachable display

The South Korean manufacturer is a leader in the market for foldable smartphones and plans to build multi-fold devices and retractable cell phones soon. While these developments are already tangible, now comes a new patent around the corner that looks like an idea from the future. Samsung wants to make a narrow strip of the display of a smartphone removable and use it as a smartwatch. Should then look like this:

91mobiles

Some of the smartphones can thus become smartwatches. Why should you even want that? We assume that there is a medical aspect involved. Sensors that are used for analysis could be built into the bracelet. All you have to do is put it on your arm and then dock it back on your mobile phone. In that case it doesn’t really look suitable for everyday use, but it’s just a patent. The idea dates back to 2018 and has only just become public. Samsung is making a big effort in the medical sector, as recently revealed with a stretchable OLED display that attaches to the arm. That could be a way of integrating the smartphone that you always have with you anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 probably with BIA sensor

With the Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung will probably introduce a BIA sensor that has not yet been used in any other smartwatch. That shows that The company has shown great interest in advancing in the medical field. This allows the composition of the body to be analyzed and thus more effective sports to be done. We will find out at the MWC 2021 event whether this will really happen. We will report on it as soon as possible.
