Samsung gives Galaxy Note 20 series, Tab S7 and Tab S8 new update

Samsung is rolling out a new update for a number of its smartphones. Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S8 will all receive a new update.

Security update for Samsung

Samsung has prepared a new update for two smartphones and two tablets. First of all, there is an update for the Note 20 series. This means that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will both receive a new security patch, namely the security update from August. This is the most recent security update available for Android, and was previously rolled out for the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung is also bringing its own August patches and adding improvements for overall stability, according to the changelog.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S8 are also updated with a new update. We’ll start with the bad news; that’s for the Tab S8 series. The Tab S8, S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra will all receive a new update, but the security patch will remain on May. It is striking that this high-end tablet does not bring a newer update. The Galaxy Tab S7 will be updated with the July security update.

If you can download the update, you will receive a notification on your smartphone or tablet.
