Samsung Galaxy S23 up to 140 euros more expensive: the Dutch prices
If you later buy a phone from the Galaxy S23 series, you will pay up to 140 euros more compared to last year’s models. The well-known German rumor monger Roland Quandt shares the prices that apply in the Benelux. We put them in a table for you.

Samsung Galaxy S23 prices
After a period of many conflicting rumors about the expected prices of the Galaxy S23 series, things are finally starting to become clear. Most sources point to a price increase this year and Roland Quandt (via Twitter) claims to own the prices we’re about to see in Germany and Benelux.
Anyone who buys a Samsung Galaxy S23, the basic model, must take into account an amount of 110 euros extra. The starting prices of the S23 Plus and S23 Ultra increase by 160 euros compared to their predecessors. The 1 TB model of the S23 Ultra is not mentioned in the prices that Quandt shares, but the model does exist, which he confirms in the Twitter thread.

View the overview of the different prices below. Certain models of the S23 series cannot be compared one-to-one with their predecessors. For example, there was no 512GB variant of the Galaxy S22 Plus. On the other hand, the S22 Ultra came standard with 12 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB.

The price increase can be explained by several factors. Global commodity prices rose due to high inflation. We are also being hit hard in Europe, as the euro has fallen in value compared to a year earlier – at the launch of the S22 series. Although last week US prices also pointed to a price increase in the US.
