iPhone 13 Pro: Apple beats nobody at these prices

For the first time, models of the iPhone 13 make it into Apple’s so-called Refurbished Store. Various variants of the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are currently available (see Apple). The standard variant of the iPhone 13, on the other hand, is currently not available. The two Pro models in particular are attractively priced, as a current price comparison reveals:

  • iPhone 13 Pro from 979 euros (cheapest comparison price 1,149 euros)
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max from 1,159 euros (cheapest comparison price 1,286 euros)

Apple is therefore a long way behind the Pro models cheaper than free trade, a rather unusual situation. This begs the question: What is behind the offer?

As a refurbished product, the iPhone 13 cuts a good and, above all, sustainable figure:

What does “Apple refurbished” actually mean?

The explanation: The variants are refurbished used goods. But this is anything but a disadvantage, because if you buy “refurbished” directly from Apple, this is no worse than new. The following applies:

  • You also get a one-year guarantee like with new devices.
  • A function test is carried out as with new goods.
  • A thorough cleaning is carried out, original Apple spare parts are used for the refurbishment.
  • iPhones get a new battery and case.
  • All accessories and cables are included.
  • Return periods as for new goods possible.
  • Devices are qualified for the extended hardware protection (AppleCare and AppleCare+) – also as with new goods.

The only difference: it is sold in neutral white packaging. So you can buy refurbished goods from Apple itself, including these Buy iPhone models without hesitation. The “catch” to this offer is actually none. There are no real disadvantages.
