‘Samsung Galaxy S23 series also comes in Europe with Snapdragon’

It seems more and more that Samsung wants to release its new Galaxy S23 smartphone with a Snapdragon processor. This now seems -finally- to apply to Europe as well.

Galaxy S23 with Snapdragon

The message has been circulating for some time that Samsung no longer wants to provide the phone with an Exynos processor in the Galaxy S23 series. Earlier came the news from Qualcomm that Samsung was going to work more closely with this chip manufacturer. This already aroused the suspicion that we would see the Galaxy S23 series with a Snapdragon processor. However, it remained unclear, since there would also be indications for an Exynos chip.

Thanks to a Geekbench benchmark test, we’re learning more about this issue. It seems that Samsung wants to introduce the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in Europe. This is clear from the fact that a European device has been added to the Geekbench figures. It concerns the S23 series which will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Earlier it became clear that Samsung will at least equip the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 200-megapixel main lens. There will also be a 5000 mAh battery, and we already know what the device will look like thanks to previously published renders. We will probably see the new Galaxy S23 series in February.
