Samsung Galaxy S22 series gets huge June update full of improvements

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is the latest high-end series from Samsung. The phones will receive updates for five years. Now a very big update is ready for the three devices, with the security update of June.

A new update is being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The June security update has already been rolled out for various devices in recent days, now also for the latest Samsung devices. When the S22 series was announced, it was already known that Samsung will provide the devices with security updates and four Android updates for five years. So now it’s time for the June security update. And this doesn’t seem like just any update.

We still know very little about the security update of June itself. Google will not announce the details of this until early next week. Then we find out which improvements Samsung has come up with for the update. However, something stands out about the update. This one is huge, almost 1.5GB in size. It is not immediately clear from the changelog what this is about. Stability improvements are made and some Samsung apps are updated, but probably much more is being improved.
