‘Samsung Galaxy S22 may be delayed by the S21 FE’

The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Samsung’s upcoming flagships, is likely to be delayed. According to SamMobile, we will probably have to wait two months longer for the devices. But rest assured, we can expect something new from the South Korean brand sooner.

Still an S21 FE

After it was previously thought that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE would be announced this month, this has probably not been the case for a while. The main reason for this is a global chip shortage. We’ve been getting very mixed messages about the future of the Fan Edition over the past few weeks.

Now it becomes known from information from Sammobile that Samsung is doing everything it can to bring the device to the market as soon as possible. The Galaxy S22 series even has to give way to this. The announcement of these new flagships would be officially scheduled for January 2022. However, this now has to shift to the end of February or March of the same year.

Samsung does not want to announce the Galaxy Galaxy S21 FE and the S22 series at the same time. The most plausible moment for the launch is at the end of February, just before the Mobile World Congress. That is the well-known tech fair where new devices are announced. In this way, Samsung still has its own event and therefore its own moment to be in the spotlight.

Secretly looks good

The delayed launch will also not be bad for Samsung. This would give them more time to solve the ‘chip shortage problem’ and thus meet the demand for the new devices. For now, Samsung has not yet confirmed the official launch date for both the S22 series and the S21 FE.

But what do you think of the thought of a delayed Galaxy S22 launch? Do you think it is a logical choice that the new generation of top devices should give way to a remake of the Galaxy S21? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
