Samsung Galaxy S21 series is the first to receive January update

Since November, the Galaxy S21 has been the first non-Pixel device to run on Android 12. However, the updates continue happily, now the January security update is available.

Samsung is busy with updates this week. More and more devices are being updated to Android 12, and the rollout of security updates is also happily continuing. The latest update is now ready for the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra, several readers report to DroidApp.

All three devices from the Samsung Galaxy S21 series are updated with the latest security patch; January 2022 security update. It is the first update from Google, of this year and was announced early this week. If we look at the changelog of the update, we see that no further adjustments or changes have been made; only the new security update for the three models. Despite that, it is a major update; namely 514.32MB in size, which means that Samsung has probably added some fixes behind the scenes.
