Samsung Galaxy S21 series immediately receives security update October

Good news for the owners of a Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 and S21 Ultra. The company has prepared the latest security update for the three smartphones.

Galaxy S21: October Update

We have not yet heard anything from Google about the latest security patch, but Samsung has already started working on it. On the first day of the new month, the company has prepared the October 2021 security update for the three devices from the Galaxy S21 series. Sander says that his Galaxy S21 Ultra has received the latest patch. In addition, the software update is also available on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+.

It is not immediately clear from the changelog which improvements have been made. Samsung has, however, talked about ‘Overall stability of functions improved’. What this exactly means is not reported, but presumably some bugs have been fixed and so it brings the new security update. Details about the new security update will (traditionally) not be known until next week. The update is approximately 284MB in size and can now be offered on your S21.
