Samsung Galaxy S21 series gets new update with fix for issues
A new update is being distributed for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. The three smartphones are getting a fix update that brings a number of improvements against problems.
Update for Galaxy S21
The three devices from the Samsung Galaxy S21 series are updated (including in the Netherlands) with a new security patch. Users of the Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra already received an update, but this caused some problems with battery life. Those problems now seem to be addressed.
The changelog of the new update states that the camera’s performance has been addressed first. It is not entirely clear what these are exactly. In doing so, the second point talks about improving overall device performance. Presumably that last point relates to battery life. The security update remains that of February.
The update will be rolled out from now on. If you can download the update, you will be notified. You can also manually check whether the update can be installed. To do this, go to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install and check manually. The update is approximately 224MB in size.
