New on Netflix: December 2022

1. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Daniel Craig is back as Benoit Blanc. In the excellent movie Knives Out, this detective had to solve a murder within a family. In the sequel Glass Onion, he travels to Greece, where a tech millionaire invites a group of friends for a game and, of course, another corpse turns up. With another star-studded cast including Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Dave Batista, Kathryn Hahn and Janelle Monáe. A wonderful Christmas mystery.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is on Netflix from December 23.
2. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
Another Pinocchio movie? Yes, but this seems to be a very special one. This stop-motion film comes from Guillermo del Toro and fully embraces the dark sides of the source material. So this is not a Pinocchio film that you watch with your little ones. The voice work is provided by Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz, Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton, among others.
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is on Netflix from December 9.
3. The Recruit
Noah Centineo plays a lawyer who works for the CIA in the new Netflix series The Recruit. He would rather sit behind a desk than go out into the field. Unfortunately for him, that relatively quiet existence comes to an end when he ends up in the middle of a major conspiracy and his life is no longer certain.
The Recruit will be on Netflix from December 16.
4. White Noise
Just before the end of the year you can enjoy the movie White Noise, with Adam Driver and his family trying to flee from a toxic substance in the air. That sounds disastrous (which it is), but is filled with more humor than you might expect. That promises a wonderfully tragicomic end of the year.
White Noise will be on Netflix from December 30.
5. Troll
We start the month with a film from Norway. A giant troll awakens from deep in the Dovre Mountains. He destroys everything in his path and is on his way to Oslo. It’s up to a small group of heroes to stop him.
Troll will be on Netflix from December 1.

Slow Horses (season 2)
In December you can watch the second season of Slow Horses, among other things. Gary Oldman is back as Jackson Lamb and he’s bringing his team of misfit spies along too.

Emancipation
Will Smith stars in this intense film about a slave who is exploited to the brink of his life and then manages to escape.
Emancipation will be on Apple TV Plus from December 9.
Little America (season 2)
In the second season of Little America you can watch eight new stories about immigrants in the United States.
The second season of Little America will be available on Apple TV Plus on December 9.
New on Disney Plus December 2022
In December you can watch new episodes of The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Santa Clauses and Willow on Disney Plus. In addition, the following things are added.
