Samsung Galaxy S21, S20, S10e and Nokia 5.3 get November update

A new update is being rolled out to various devices from Samsung and Nokia. It is striking that after the many news about Android 13, it is now time for security updates. At Samsung we see updates for the Galaxy S21 and S20 series and the S10e. Nokia rolls out an update for the Nokia 5.3.

Updates at Samsung

Samsung has been busy rolling out updates in the past week. The update to Android 13 appeared for a large number of devices. However, the manufacturer also simply rolls out security updates, and they are now available for a series of new devices. It is striking that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is still equipped with the October update. However, the latest security part is available for a range of other smartphones.

It concerns the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S10e for which the November security update can be downloaded. This means that the update can be downloaded on the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is also available for the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra, and therefore the S10e. Together with the new security patch, the devices will also be equipped with Samsung’s own patches for the month of November. For the Galaxy S20, the update has a size of approximately 175MB, Theo informs DroidApp.

Nokia 5.3

An update is also ready for the Nokia 5.3. It seems that HMD Global has given updating its smartphones a bit more priority. Lately, Nokia regularly dropped stitches when it came to rolling out updates. We get the tip from Theo that his Nokia 5.3 has also been updated to the November security update. As far as known, no further changes will be made.

The update is now available for the various devices.
