You can’t just buy Adidas NFT clothes

Adidas will also plunge into the world of the NFT and they will do so with special clothing.

Undoubtedly a smart idea. Putting out clothes that you can’t buy by simply walking into a store. Exclusivity attracts people and in that respect this is a masterstroke by Adidas. You see more and more big brands stepping into the world of NFT and Adidas is no exception.

The well-known clothing brand has launched a unique clothing collection under the name Into the Metaverse. The purpose of the collection is that the clothing can only be purchased by owners of an Adidas NFT. So first you have to get hold of such an NFT before you can buy a sweater or something similar from the brand. The NFTs are sold for 0.2 ETH. That is converted about 600 euros with the current rate of Ethereum.

It is unknown how many NFTs Adidas will offer. As a result, it is also unclear how exclusive this club is. In any case, it is quite unique, you will not easily have a friend who gets such clothes in the same way. In that respect, a smart move by Adidas by applying the NFT in this way.

Adidas does not do this alone. The clothing brand is collaborating with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, GMoney and Punks Comic for this project.
