‘No charger for Samsung Galaxy S21 phones’
In the document provided by website Tecnoblog was discovered, it says that the still unannounced Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will be sold without an adapter in the packaging. Earplugs are also missing in the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 series has not yet been announced and the information is therefore unconfirmed. Should the news be true, Samsung will follow the example of arch-rival Apple. The iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max released this year come standard without charger and earplugs in the box.
Samsung responded to the controversy arising from the Apple decision via the above Facebook message last October. It is not the first time that rumors have surfaced about the lack of a charger on the new Samsung phones. In July and October, sources already claimed that the South Korean company would supply virtually no peripherals.
This decision may not apply worldwide. In France, for example, competitor Apple is required by law to put earplugs in the packaging of the iPhone 12 phones. In the Netherlands, smartphones are sold without an adapter block and earplugs.
Clarity in 2021
The Samsung Galaxy S21 range is expected to be announced in January or February of 2021. The new flagships have been occupying minds for quite some time. The company seems to announce three direct successors to the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra, which would include a new processor, better cameras and possibly voice unlocking.
