Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to be launched in January 2022

The launch of one of Samsung’s most popular phones, the Galaxy S21 FE, was set to take place at CES in early January. During this technology fair, the phone could get a lot of attention.

Launch Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is a variant of the Galaxy S20 that has many strong specifications from its big brother, but for a lower suggested retail price. This combination turned out to be a bull’s eye for Samsung and a successor is of course inevitable. Only the launch is delayed. The S20 FE was announced in September of 2020 and we hoped to see the successor a year and a month later. That turned out not to be the case and this is probably due to the global chip shortage. The launch would take place two months later and the Galaxy S22 series would even have to give way to this.

Sammobile sources now report: “Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S21 FE at CES 2022. The next CES is scheduled for January 5-8 and will take place in Las Vegas as usual.” There are usually no major smartphone launches planned during this technology fair, so the S21 FE could get a lot of attention there.

For the time being, Samsung has not announced a date yet, so we will place this news in the category of rumors that are subject to change. In addition, the worldwide shortage of chipsets could still throw a spanner in the works. Nevertheless, Sammobile is pretty sure that their sources are right, and we can expect the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE at CES 2022.
