Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro receive an update with several interesting features

Galaxy Buds Pro joined the Samsung family of wireless headphones earlier this year with the introduction of the Galaxy S21 flagship series. According to the Gizmochin portal, they are receiving another update this week, which brings several new features.

The update for Galaxy Buds Pro improves the Surround Sound mode as well as active noise cancellation

The new version bears the firmware designation R190XXUA0UH5. You will need Galaxy Wearable and the latest version of Galaxy Buds Pro to download it.

According to the official changelog, the latest update adds support for the Surround Sounds feature during calls, as well as the ability to customize the feature. In addition, this version offers the possibility to activate active noise cancellation on only one handset.

The new firmware is slowly reaching users around the world. Samsung is introducing the update gradually, so some users will have to wait a little longer than others.

How the competition updates

Although Samsung’s competitors have not yet matched Samsung in the update, that doesn’t mean they don’t care about their devices. Huawei recently upgraded the P Smart 2019 to EMUI 10 or Mate 20 series devices running its own Harmony OS 2. OnePlus has upgraded its mid-range Nord series models.
