Saints Row is postponed to August next year -apkrig

When the developers from the Volition studio presented their reboot of the Saints Row series in August this year, they heard considerable criticism from fans. Still, there was no sign that they wanted to compromise on their new vision. After all, the release of the game was scheduled for February 25, 2022, and it was unlikely that anything fundamental would change in such a short time, when games are usually just being tuned and captured. However, now the authors announcedthat postpone the game to August 23rd. Even so, they remain true to the vision presented.

Neither the characters nor the story have changed, the developers said for a change on the official website.

Development boss Jim Boone told players that the team’s priority was to create the best Saints Row yet. If they wanted to meet the original deadline, the game would not reach the standards set by the authors themselves and what the fans expect and deserve. The studio needs more time to be able to fully realize its vision. At the same time, however, Volition emphasized that they were fine-tuning the game and were not planning major changes. They just want to increase the overall quality.

For example, they reacted to some later messages on Twitter in order to adjust the reboot to the image of older games. But that obviously won’t happen. The content should remain as presented by the studio. We love the creative decisions we’ve made, we’re sure of them, so they won’t change, he said team to one of the players on the social network. Neither the characters nor the story have changed, the developers said for a change on the official website.

They ruled out that the reason for the postponement was Elden Ring from FromSoftware, whose release also falls on February 25.

The authors apologized for the delay, but believed it was the right decision, said Jim Boone. They sincerely underestimated the impact of the pandemic on their schedule, although they all quickly adapted to the new conditions and Boon said the team remained incredibly productive. But the scope of the new Saints Row still takes extra time. It is supposed to be the biggest and best part of the whole series.

Volition also promised to show more gameplay videos from the game in the coming weeks. On the contrary, they ruled out that the reason for the postponement was Elden Ring from FromSoftware, whose release also falls on February 25. On the contrary, they were looking forward to it. Jim Boone says that as players, they know how a person feels when the game they are looking forward to is postponed. That a person is disappointed and frustrated. But he is convinced that the wait will finally be worth it when we finally get our hands on it.
