Riots: Emmanuel Macron makes a link with video games and social networks

This Friday, Emmanuel Macron said wait for a “spirit of responsibility” social networks, where are organized “violent gatherings” and which arouse “also a form of mimicry of violence, which leads the youngest to a form of leaving reality”. We suspect that he is referring to games like Grand Theft Auto (GTA).

A meeting between the government and the digital platforms was scheduled for late Friday afternoon to ask for their support, in particular for “identify social network users who participate in the commission of offences”the government announced.
