Samsung Galaxy A22 in the news

There is news of a new model from Samsung’s Galaxy A series. The manufacturer seems to be coming soon with the Galaxy A22, as the successor to the A21s. Concept renders already appeared in April, which were made by OnLeaks. Now we see press renders that seem to come from Samsung itself. This gives us an even better picture of the smartphone.

5G model

The Samsung Galaxy A22 will even appear as a 5G version, according to the information. The phone will also get a 4G version, which will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD + resolution. With the 5G model, this will be an LCD screen, presumably to keep costs down. According to the source, the 4G model will get slightly thinner screen edges.

With the Galaxy A22 5G we will encounter a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, while the 4G model will receive a Helio G80 chipset from the same manufacturer. The 5G device has a triple camera with 48MP main lens, 5MP wide angle lens and 2MP sensor. The 4G model gets an extra 2MP lens. Both models will get a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging, according to the source.

Samsung would like to release both models of the Galaxy A22 in white, black, purple and green. Previous reports spoke of an announcement this quarter. It is not yet known when this will happen. The fact that more and more is becoming known seems that we don’t have to wait very long anymore.
