Watch the brutal opening minutes of Netflix Resident Evil!

Netflix is ​​warming us up to Resident Evil. Less than a month before the release, the streaming service has put the opening scene online. In this we see a lot of Jason and the Mad Dogs of the American army. The clip shows you just enough to get excited about it, but doesn’t reveal too much of the complete storyline.

Opening Minutes Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

We get to see three minutes. In this it becomes clear that the Mad Dogs are in a helicopter and another helicopter crashing in the distance. Jason and his team decide to disobey the orders and engage local Penamstan soldiers to rescue the survivors of the crash.

In an earlier release, Netflix already revealed what the series is about. The special forces that wanted to save the Mad Dogs were already dead, but the team saw them moving in strange ways. However, they were able to escape and Jason became a US federal agent with Leon S. Kennedy.

Attack

Six years later, Jason and Leon were investigating an attack on a top-secret White House file — later revealed to be linked to a biology lab in Shanghai — when the lights suddenly went out and a horde of zombies is revealed. Meanwhile, in Penamstan, Claire Redfield discovers evidence of a terrifying experiment conducted during Penamstan’s Civil War.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will premiere on Netflix on July 8. The series will feature the voices of Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello, who will reprise their roles as Leon and Claire from the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake. View the images here.
