Recenze Diablo II: Resurrected » Vortex

The developers at Vicarious Visions had a difficult task ahead of them. Still with vivid memories of the tragedy in the form of the remaster of Warcraft III, at the behest of Blizzard, they took on other games with legendary status and slowly spun a special remastered version of the famous Diablo II. The game with the subtitle Resurrected invaded the players and, despite the occasional crashes and other shortcomings, unleashed hell on the ground as reliably as if the year was 2000. We can not complain much about the technical quality of the remaster – the graphics recorded a significant leap forward and You can clearly see how long video games have come. At the same time, at the core, the game remains the good old Devil, and the players who spent their childhood with it will undoubtedly get used to it.

But what about those who are not burdened with any nostalgia? We think that the view of the game itself will greatly divide the fans – some behind Diablo II in the Resurrected edition will see a return to a time when life was somehow easier and others will grab a 20-year-old game, which – logically – does not correspond to modern trends, there was also a problem that Petr encountered in his review. Therefore, accept the warning that if you are not so interested in numbers, statistics and grinding in the hunt for the best possible build of your character, Diablo II remains an orthodox devil, whether in modern or old graphics.

  • Sample reworked graphics
  • Tuned control for consoles
  • Preserved darkness of the world and dungeons
  • A number of minor gameplay and control improvements
  • Still functional ecosystem of the cycle of equipment and development of the figure
  • Technical difficulties and debatable connectivity solutions
  • Obsolescence of the user interface on all queues
  • Many historical errors remained uncorrected
  • Limited motivation to explore the environment
  • Relative flatness of basic mechanisms in comparison with modern competition

The resurrected Diablo returns in great remastered graphics that reinforce the timeless narrative and the dark atmosphere of the ending world. However, the mood is spoiled by protracted technical problems, problems with connectivity and a number of outdated elements that would also deserve to be polished.
