Price increase for Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4

Samsung is busy with the Galaxy Z series. What started as a trial has now gone on for three generations. There will also be a successor in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. But expect that you will have to pay considerably more for these devices.

According to OnLeaks on Twitter Samsung opts for a price increase with the arrival of the new phones. On August 10, the South Korean tech company organized an event. Then Samsung will officially present the new phones to the world.

There is talk of a 6% price increase. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will cost 1,799 euros, while the old model was put on the market for 1,695 euros. The top model, the 512 GB, would even get a price tag of 1,919 euros.

The Z Flip 3 then. This smartphone was put on the market last year for 999 euros. Its successor, the Flip 4, will cost 1,109 euros. A price increase of no less than 11 percent. Substantial, but those are the current market conditions. Think of a higher cost price, chip shortages and so on. The variant with 256 GB storage would cost 1,169 euros.
