An increasingly popular Chinese brand Realme has scheduled a presentation of this year’s flagship for today Realme GT. She followed the plan and according to the portal GSMarena is a novelty really powerful device with very fast charging. They will also be pleased with the price.

Body design also refers to the speed of novelty
The design of the smartphone corresponds to the name GT, which is a common name for fast cars. The primary color is yellow, with a leather all-glass body and a black band under the camera module, which is to be a symbol of speed. In the case of the blue and silver versions of the body, the black belt and skin are missing. Of course, this does not change the parameters of the smartphone.
All body colors have the same powerful 5 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with a 5G modem. LPDDR5 RAM is 8 GB or 12 GB. Internal 128 GB or 256 GB. Unfortunately, it cannot be expanded with microSD cards, which is the disadvantage of most flagship models.

The Super AMOLED display of the Realme GT has a size of 6.43 inches and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Players will definitely enjoy a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response of 360 Hz. The display also includes a fingerprint sensor and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera has three sensors – 64-megapixel with f / 1.8 brightness, 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro sensor.
Recorded 4K videos at 60 fps use electronic image stabilization. There are also slow-motion 720p videos at 480 frames per second. Connectivity is provided by 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC chip, USB-C and even there is a 3.5 m headphone jack.
The pride of the Realme GT is the 4500 mAh battery, which is charged by fast charging with a power of 65 W to 100% in 35 minutes. Unfortunately, wireless charging is missing. In China, the Realme GT is to be sold for 360 euros with 8 GB of RAM and 420 euros with 12 GB of RAM. That’s a pretty low price for a smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 chipset. Availability and price on the global market have not yet been announced. The Realme brand also sells its smartphones in Slovakia, so it is possible that this piece will also go on sale in our country.
What is the competition like?
Realme GT definitely wants to compete with the best model on the market. Xiaomi Mi 11 has a better camera and wireless charging, but also a higher price. The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is also more expensive, but also offers water resistance. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which is slower but has a better camera, water resistance and even wireless charging, could compete with the Realme GT in terms of price.

Realme GT 5G will so far be the most equipped model of the increasingly popular manufacturer, which is also officially on the Slovak market. The smartphone should be presented at the MWC event in Shanghai, which begins tomorrow.

However, we have already learned some interesting information today. The new flagship can already be seen in the pictures during the preparation of the mentioned event, according to the GSMAren portal. Speaking of MWC, it takes place every year in Barcelona and Shanghai, with Barcelona always scheduled for February. However, this year the two cities have reversed the dates.
Let’s go back to the news. The Realme GT 5G gets a leather back that is becoming more and more popular among users. As it will be the flagship, the Qualcomm Snpadragon 888 processor must not be missing. There will also be 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM available. This combination ensures maximum user comfort.

It will be possible to store user data on UFS 3.1 storage with a capacity of 256 GB, support for memory cards remains questionable. The display will offer a hitherto unknown diagonal, but it will be of the AMOLED type and will also receive a 120 Hz refresh rate. As the name of the smartphone itself suggests, there will be a lack of support for 5th generation networks.
The fingerprint sensor is moved directly to the display and you will enjoy a fast wired charging with a power of 65 W. There is no information yet about possible wireless charging. We also don’t know what cameras the novelty will offer. According to the picture, one of them should have a resolution of 64 megapixels.
