Snapdragon 888, AMOLED screen and 64 MP sensor, discover the € 360 smartphone
Realme today unveils its GT 5G, a new smartphone with an impressive technical sheet. On the program: Snapdragon 888, AMOLED screen, 8/12 GB of RAM, 64 megapixel main sensor… All from € 360. The phone is already available in China and soon around the world.
The Realme GT 5G is now a reality and it keeps all of its promises. The Chinese manufacturer unveils today his new smartphone at a reduced price, whose technical sheet has little to envy its high-end competitors. The firm had notably announced the presence of the Snapdragon 888. We find the Qualcomm processor among the components used.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.43 ”Super AMOLED display, with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The sampling rate is 360 Hz and presents five different configurations to suit user preferences.
The Realme GT 5G has 12 GB of RAM and a 64 megapixel sensor
On the performance side, the Realme GT 5G is doing very well with a choice of 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The smartphone also offers 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. However, it is not possible to add a microSD, although the phone is compatible with dual SIM. The icing on the cake, the latter presents a 3.5 mm jack port, a rare thing on modern devices.
The Realme GT 5G also defends itself in terms of photography. While the Realme 8 Pro will be equipped with a 108 MP sensor, it is content with a 64 MP main sensor. A wide-angle sensor 8 MP and a macro sensor 2 MP complete the rear setup. The selfie sensor, meanwhile, is 16 MP and nestles in the left corner of the screen. Thanks to the Snapdragon 888, the smartphone films in 4K / 60 FPS and supports slow motion up to 720p / 480 FPS.

This is available in three colors : “Galactic Silver”, “Deep Sea Blue” and “Morning Yellow”. It is marketed from 360 € for its 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage configuration, and 420 € for 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The launch is planned in China initially. The release date on international markets has not yet been communicated.
