Polder is a very Dutch e-bike

Lots of personalization and an okay price. That is Mokumono’s Polder in a nutshell.

There is more and more to choose from in the world of e-bikes. That’s a good thing, because that way you can make a better choice. The Dutch e-bike brand Mokumono has launched the Polder today. An absolute electric bicycle without fuss. With a lot of personalization options when it comes to the color.

The bicycle is not only Dutch. It’s a European thing anyway. 90 percent of the parts are of European origin. For Mokumono, this is now the third e-bike they are launching. The Delta and Delta C were previously there. Compared to those earlier models, the Polder is really very different. The Polder is a modular bicycle. Not unique, but you don’t see it very often.

Mokumono Polder

The battery of the Mokumono Polder is integrated in the frame. What is nice about this model is that you can also replace the battery with a battery from a third party. So you are not obligated to be branded. The idea behind this is that the bicycle can last for decades and that you can replace the worn-out battery in between. Speaking of the frame. This two-wheeler is designed in such a way that people with a height of 1.65 meters to 1.95 meters can ride on the thing.

You can get the Mokumono Polder in two variants. With a 360Wh battery and a 540Wh battery. The former has a stated range of 80 kilometers. The second has a specified range of up to 120 kilometers.

The tech enthusiast can also indulge themselves with this model. You switch on the bicycle by means of Bluetooth. And you can charge your smartphone via the integrated USB ports.

Coming back to personalization. The Mokumono Polder can be ordered in 40 different colours. The introductory price is € 2,590. The e-bike will be available from September.
