Poco launches new Poco M5 and M5s

Two new smartphones have been added to the portfolio of manufacturer Poco. The brand presents the new Poco M5 and the Poco M5s. Both devices will also be released in the Netherlands.

Poco M5 and M5s

Poco has announced its new Poco M5 and Poco M5s. The telephones are aimed at the younger target group, but can also appeal to other target groups. According to the manufacturer, the device should offer a good gaming and audiovisual experience. We list the details of the devices for you.

Poco M5

The Poco M5 is available in yellow, black and green and offers a 6.58-inch 90Hz IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ resolution. The phone comes with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and comes in 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB memory configurations. The Poco M5 comes with Android 12, has a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging and a triple camera with 50MP main camera and two 2MP lens.

Especially in the field of gaming, Poco promises the necessary possibilities. Thanks to technical gadgets, the CPU, GPU and working memory are tuned and optimized for the game, in order to be able to play as stable as possible. Also playing heavily taxing games should not cause any problems, according to the manufacturer.

Poco M5s

The Poco M5s is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, also with a Full HD + resolution. Poco gives the phone a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, in the configurations 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. For taking photos, the smartphone is equipped with a 64MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle lens and two 2MP lenses for depth. Here too we see a 5000 mAh battery, although you can charge it quickly with 33W.

Where the Poco M5 mainly focuses on gaming, the M5s mainly focuses on the use of multimedia and entertainment. For example, there are dual speakers and there are various tricks to enjoy what is happening on the screen. With the Creative Studio, you can get more out of your photos and videos.

Availability

The Poco M5 will go out from an amount of 189.90 euros. The Poco M5s has a suggested retail price of 229.90 euros. From September 12 to September 17 you can score the devices with a few tens discount in the early-bird sale.
