OPPO Find X5 receives Android 13 update in the Netherlands
Android 13 rolls out for the OPPO Find X5 and the OPPO Find X5 Pro. OPPO is thus one of the first manufacturers to roll out this new Android version to its phones.

OPPO and Android 13
Google announced the stable version of Android 13 on August 15, 2022. This new Android version comes with all kinds of new features and improvements. For example, the Material You design has been expanded further, Bedtime mode is given more options and language settings per app have been added. In addition to the improvements from Google, each manufacturer will add a series of improvements to its software shell. Samsung has already started the rollout of its software shell based on Android 13 and now OPPO is following. Now Androidworld reader Mark already let us know that his OPPO Find X5 had received the Android 13 update, but that turned out to be a software update that was available outside the Netherlands. Now OPPO reports to Androidworld that it is the Netherlands’ turn.
The name of OPPO’s software shell is ColorOS 13 and it gets the new functions of Android 13 with an OPPO sauce. For example, there is the so-called Aquamorphic design that provides a fluid, vibrant and inclusive user interface. The so-called Dynamic Computing Engine can be found for the first time in ColorOS 13. OPPO has developed this technology itself and it should make the software run smoother and more stable. Which OPPO phones will receive the Android 13 update?
ColorOS 13 is now rolling out to the OPPO Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. The update arrives over-the-air on these phones. You will automatically see a notification in the notification bar. You can also manually search for the update: Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install.
