Oppo Find N: Competition for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3?
Until now, Oppo has been quietly preparing its response to the well-known and popular Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. While other manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Motorola, Huawei and Samsung have previously introduced their first flexible devices, Oppo took the time. For years, Oppo Find N has been quietly preparing, about which we will learn more only now. The report was brought by the Android Central portal.
Oppo Find N: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 Killer?
Pete Lau, co-founder and CEO of OnePlus and chief product officer of Oppo, said Oppo Find N had been developing for four years. The first prototype saw the light of day in April 2018, but kept it secret from the public.
According to the company, Find N is the sixth generation folding phone from Oppo. Lau mentions that this facility will help them continue to take shape and direction, after the whole industry has essentially got stuck. This jam represents reaching a possible ceiling in terms of performance, cameras, or design. Finally, Lau himself describes it quite accurately:
“Whether it’s fast charging, high refresh rates, multi-focal mobile photography or a 5G connection, smartphone development has reached a limit that requires new ways of thinking and new approaches so we can continue to innovate.”
Find N should also address the shortcomings of today’s folding phones – visible screen fold and low durability. Watch the phone live in the video below:
It can be seen from the video that the fold is practically not there after opening. Also, when opened at the top left, something looks like a selfie sensor in the upper left corner of the screen.
At the moment we do not know the price, specifications or availability of the device. The only thing we can tell you is the date of the performance – December 15, which is practically coming soon. Then we may learn more about whether and how they disguised the familiar fold of folding phones.
In the past, Oppo has given us the opportunity to try out their prototype, the Oppo X 2021 rollable phone.
