OnLeaks shares images of rugged Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro

A new rugged smartphone from Samsung is on the way. The source OnLeaks has shared 3D renders of the new Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, a future model that should be able to take a beating.

Samsung seems to be coming on the market with a new robust smartphone soon. The model will be named Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, and has now been revealed by leaker OnLeaks. The source shares the photos of the new device, which show that the model has a similar design to its predecessor(s). This results in a screen with fairly thick screen edges and red accents around the camera module and the left button.

If the rumors surrounding the Samsung are correct, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will receive a Snapdragon 778G chipset. This would be assisted by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There would be a 6.56-inch Full-HD + screen with a standard refresh rate. There is talk about a 50MP main camera and a wide-angle lens with 8/12 megapixels. The front camera has 13 megapixels. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will get a 4050 mAh battery, which is probably removable. Samsung also gives the device a 3.5 millimeter connection for a headset.

It is not clear when Samsung will officially announce the smartphone.
