OnePlus restarts the update to OxygenOS 12

OnePlus originally started shipping OxygenOS 12 in early December, but users have reported a large number of bugs. So OnePlus stopped the update to look at and fix the bugs. There were also a number of reviews on the Internet, which were mostly negative due to errors. In addition, however, people have complained that OxygenOS loses its identity. OnePlus is slowly becoming Oppo. The report was brought by the GSMAren portal.

The upgrade to OxygenOS 12 continues

The original version was designated C.36. The new version is called C.39, so if you still have C.36, we recommend that you update. The new version could fix any bugs you noticed or the entire internet.

However, if you have not yet updated your OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro to the new version, you should not do so. If you wait a few days, the internet will give you an answer on whether it pays off. It can also happen that this update will also contain a large number of bugs and failures.

In theory, however, everything should work. OnePlus has worked on the most frequently reported problems – connection failures, invisible notifications, jams, display problems and so on. For a complete list of fixes and changes, visit the OnePlus forum.

On the other hand, some issues like AutoFill in Chrome, temporarily lacking access to 48MP mode in GCam, will be fixed in the near future.

As usual, this is a gradual release of the update. This means that the devices will receive them at certain intervals.
