OnePlus has presented its new own skin; OxygenOS 12. This new version is based on Android 12 and includes several improvements.

OxygenOS 12

This week there was the official release of Android 12. That means that manufacturers can also get started with the update. So is OnePlus, which presents OxygenOS 12. The company shares the first screenshots. The manufacturer talks about a refreshed user interface, new features and a more stable and energy-efficient system.

If we go by the information from OnePlus, OxygenOS 12 uses light and space. This should ensure better readability, ease of use and a better experience. The Notes app has been revamped with new editing features, including a Doodle feature that lets you sketch ideas. Furthermore, the Shelf can be personalized and OnePlus Scout is integrated. This will allow you to start a search and search all content on your device. It does not matter whether it is a contact, music track or document.

Zen Mode 2.0

There is also the Zen Mode 2.0 with Work Life Balance. It allows notifications and messages from different apps to be categorized and prioritized in a certain way. OnePlus says the following about this;

“The boundaries between work and private life have become blurred, which can often lead to extra strain and mental pressure. That’s why OnePlus already introduced the Zen Mode with the OnePlus 7 series to offer a quiet place to users who feel overwhelmed by information. Based on this simple philosophy, this experience is now extended with Work Life Balance (WLB) 2.0, a first for Android phones. This allows notifications and messages from different apps to be categorized and prioritized. In addition, the phone smartly switches between work and private mode based on office locations, Wi-Fi networks or a specific set timing, keeping work and private life easily and clearly separated. Dark mode can be adjusted on three levels with the new operating system.”
