OnePlus mentions ‘OnePlus Nord 2’ on its own website
OnePlus seems to have passed its mouth on a new model. There have been reports about a second generation OnePlus Nord for some time, and we are now getting more confirmation about that.
OnePlus Nord 2 is mentioned
It seems that we will see a new smartphone from OnePlus in the foreseeable future. The manufacturer has been in the news for some time about a new generation of OnePlus Nord, but now the manufacturer itself has given a clear indication of this.
The name ‘OnePlus Nord 2’ is mentioned in an FAQ section about the new Stadia Premiere Edition promotion that is valid in different countries. In the text different models are mentioned, but also a device that we have not seen yet; the OnePlus Nord 2. This smartphone is expected to be announced in the coming months, given that the promo lasts until September 30th.
Not much is known about the device yet. However, it was previously discussed a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, which also offers support for the 5G network. If this is correct, then this is the first OnePlus smartphone without a Qualcomm processor. If more is known about the new smartphone from OnePlus, we will of course keep you informed.
