Huawei FreeBuds 4i are the latest TWS headphones from a Chinese manufacturer, which tries to provide them with honest software support. According to the portal HuaweiCentral now they get a new update that improves their charging.

The update optimizes the battery capacity of the charging case

Huawei FreeBuds 4i is one of the TWS headphones that support the ambient noise suppression (ANC) function. Their price is approximately 75 euros. Their appreciation of their manufacturer was only recently confirmed by an update, which improved their sound quality and provided support for health feedback.

After the latest update, users can again experience an increase in the battery charge level in the charging box, which will also improve the charging of the headphones themselves. At the same time, the response to the health comments received by the headphones in the previous update should be improved. According to the list of update changes, the search for nearby devices has also accelerated.

The update number is 1.9.0.172 and the size is 1.3 MB. The update is distributed globally by region, so you don’t have to panic if it hasn’t arrived yet. When updating, you should keep the headphones in the charging case and be charged to at least 30% of their battery capacity.

How to update Huawei FreeBuds 4i headphones?

  1. Open the AI ​​Life application.
  2. Make sure the headphones are connected to the smartphone and are inserted inside the charging case. Leave the charging case open and then select the appropriate card for your headphones in the app to get to their home.
  3. Click Check for updates.
  4. If an update is available, click UPDATE.
  5. Wait for the update to complete.
  6. When the update is complete, close the charging case and wait 10 minutes for the case to update automatically.
