We already saw at the beginning of this year that the names ‘OnePlus V Fold’ and ‘OnePlus V Flip’ were registered as trademarks in Europe. OnePlus founder Pete Lau also teased the arrival of foldable phones on Twitter. For now, there is talk of one foldable phone. The brand does not announce whether that will be a OnePlus V Fold or the OnePlus V Flip. We can count on a foldable phone that can compete with the top in this segment. So think of the foldables from Motorola, Samsung and OPPO.

Our first foldable phone will have our signature fast and smooth experience. It should become a real flagship phone that should not compromise on industrial design, mechanical technology and other aspects because of its foldable form. We want to release a device that can absolutely match the current top folding devices on the market.

Smart ecosystem

In addition, OnePlus also wants to build a stronger smart ecosystem in the next three to five years. That ecosystem will enable OnePlus to provide connections between various OnePlus devices, such as smartphones, tablets, wearables, TVs and other Internet-of-things devices. It is not known what products we can expect in this area. OnePlus recently released another mechanical Keychron keyboard, the OnePlus Pad and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
