Security updates for Samsung

In the Netherlands and Belgium, Samsung has updated several smartphones with a new update. Several readers have tipped us off about the release of the updates, including André, Willem, Victoria and Dennis, for which many thanks. After we already published an article on Thursday about the appearance of an update for the Note 10 series, it is now the turn of a series of other devices.

Galaxy A70

The Samsung Galaxy A70 was previously downgraded to a different update schedule. The smartphone from 2019 will receive an update less often. In any case, there is now a more recent update ready. The device will be updated with security update September 2021.

Other Galaxys

For other devices, Samsung has prepared the October 2021 security update. This is the case for the devices below. It is clear that this is only a new security update; the October patch, along with Samsung’s patches. So there are no new features or major changes.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

When the update is available for your device, a notification will automatically appear on your smartphone. You can also manually check in Settings > software update whether the update is already available for you.
