Nothing Launcher first gives a look at Nothing OS, just download
In March of this year, the new tech company Nothing showed the world some details of its first smartphone. One of those details was the Nothing Launcher and it is now available for a number of smartphones.

Nothing and Nothing Phone (1)
Carl Pei, former founder of OnePlus and owner of startup Nothing, is known for his hype techniques for generating brand awareness. The company has now announced the Nothing Ear (1) wireless earphones, and the next step is a smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1).
The Nothing Phone (1) can count on four years of security updates and three version updates. Together with the wireless earphones, the phone will be part of an open ecosystem. Carl Pei said the following about this:
If you want products that connect and work seamlessly, Apple is the only choice. The MacBook, the iPhone, the iPad and the AirPods work together the way you want. But once you leave that ecosystem and opt for a Windows PC or Android phone, everything falls apart. There is no alternative to Apple and that means consumers have no choice and innovation slows down. That’s not how it should be and that’s why Nothing is there.
Nothing OS and Nothing Launcher
But before the startup announces the Nothing Phone (1), remarkably enough, they first get to see their own launcher and it’s called, how could it be otherwise, Nothing Launcher.
Nothing Launcher is part of Nothing OS. That is the software shell of the Nothing and it is based on a bare-bones Android experience. The focus of Nothing OS will be on speed and as few animations as possible. Nothing will get the phone loaded with Google apps and bloatware out of the way.
Nothing Launcher is in beta phase and the app gives you a first look at the Nothing OS design including icons, folders, various widgets, ringtones and wallpapers.

Download Nothing Launcher
The Nothing launcher works for now on the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S22 series, and the Google Pixel 5 and newer models. Support for OnePlus phones is on the way. You can download the app via the button below in the Play Store.
Install Nothing Launcher
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, you need to set the launcher as the default launcher on your phone:
- Open the Settings on your phone
- Tap on apps and then on Choose default apps
- Tap on Home screen app and choose Nothing Launcher
