HarmonyOS is Huawei’s great hope in the fight against Google’s Android. But not only the own Android smartphones will receive an update to the new operating system. HarmonyOS is also available for the models of the former subsidiary Honor.

Huawei: Honor smartphones get HarmonyOS

Before Honor became independent from Huawei because of the US ban, the two companies belonged together. Many owners of Honor phones are of course now wondering whether it might be for that upgrade your own device to HarmonyOS will give. In fact, Huawei will also provide Honor devices with the new operating system (source: GizChina). The following Honor smartphones will now have access to the beta version, at least in China:

P50 Pro: Huawei has to prove itself

While Huawei is working on the final implementation of HarmonyOS for older smartphones and tablets, a few days ago the group presented the P50 Pro, the first high-end mobile phone that is directly equipped with the new operating system.
