Nokia is rolling out December patch for Nokia 5.3 and 5.1 Plus
The manufacturer has started rolling out an update for two devices from HMD Global. The new update brings the December security update to the 5.3 and 5.1 Plus.
Security update for Nokia 5.3
If you own a Nokia 5.3 or a Nokia 5.1 Plus, you can now expect a new update for your smartphone. HMD Global has started distributing a new update, which brings improvements to the security of your smartphone. Richard informs us that the update is available for the Nokia 5.3. In addition, this update will also be available for the Nokia 5.1 Plus released in the summer of 2018.
Given the size of the update (only 1.72MB), you don’t have to expect any new functions on the device. Only security update December 2020 is included with the update. The Nokia 5.3 is now waiting for the update to Android 11. This update is expected this quarter, the update schedule indicated earlier.
