No more need for two hands for PlayStation controller
If you have a handicap in one of your hands, you can still use a PlayStation controller thanks to an attachment.
A PlayStation controller should remain more or less the same with each generation. Two joysticks, eight buttons, two bumper buttons and two flippers, and some sort of airplane steering wheel-like design so it fits comfortably in both hands. That’s how it was on the earlier game consoles and it’s always been that way.
Physical disability
A minimum requirement is therefore having two hands. Unfortunately, this is doable for the vast majority of people, but there is still a significant proportion who may have a handicap in one of both hands. Then multitasking on a PlayStation controller becomes difficult. Fortunately, there is a market for everything, so someone made an addition to your PlayStation controller that allows you to operate the entire controller with one hand.
A video explains more than we can, but the idea is very simple. You slide a batch of parts onto your PlayStation controller and it operates the buttons and joystick, in this case the left side, with the back of the controller. You can operate the joystick by pressing it on a flat surface. There is also an extra set of parts that operate the four buttons.
The design comes from Akaki Kuumeri who shares it on YouTube and everything can be 3D printed. So easily accessible. The solution for the disabled?
