NLZIET gets profiles function, you can do this with it

NLZIET has added a profiles function to its streaming service. This function makes it easier to share an NLZIET subscription within a household.

NLZIET launches profiles

With the NLZIET profiles, you can link multiple members of a household to one subscription, just like with Disney+ and Netflix. In this way, each member can follow their own series and TV programs. With this new option, an NLZIET subscription can be used on two devices and a maximum of 5 profiles can be created. Viewing progress is also tracked and personal recommendations are made, based on viewing behavior within a profile.

According to Niels Baas, director of NLZIET, this addition means that the fixed TV subscription can now really go out: “With a TV offering of more than 170,000 programs, there is always something to choose from on NLZIET. With the new profiles function, we offer Our subscribers not only get a more personal viewing experience, but we inspire them with other great programs that match their interests. With 36 live channels and the large on-demand offer, NLZIET is a fully-fledged and affordable alternative to traditional TV packages.”

Using Profiles

The Profiles feature can now be used in iOS and Android mobile app, web browser, Apple TV app and Android TV app, Fire TV app, on Hisense smart TVs (from 2018) and Samsung smart TVs (Tizen models from 2016). The app will be made available for LG smart TVs (models from 2016 onwards) at a later date.

NLZIET is a Dutch streaming service that allows you to watch live TV, replay programs and watch series on demand. NLZIET costs € 0.01 for the first month, and after that you pay € 7.95 per month for the subscription. The streaming service recently informed Androidworld that the growth of large international streaming services could pose a threat to Dutch platforms, and it also has a solution.
