New update fixes annoying bugs
No time right now?
The current version of Apple’s operating system macOS Big Sur is supposed to solve problems with external screens and iCloud, among other things.
The second update for macOS Big Sur 11 is here. After version 11.1 was released in December with some bug fixes and support for the Airpods Studio, problems with macOS 11.2 should be fixed again. There are no new functions.

macOS 11.2 is supposed to fix display problems with M1 Macs
According to Apple, the update should fix problems with external screens in the Mac Mini with the M1 chip. According to the manufacturer, the displays showed a black screen when connected via an HDMI-to-DVI converter. It is not known whether the new macOS version also fixes known resolution problems with some displays that occurred with macOS 11.1.
Apple only writes about the bug fixes with Bluetooth connections that they should become more stable with the update.
macOS Big Sur 11.2 with further bug fixes
Furthermore, macOS 11.2 is supposed to solve the problem that when switching off the synchronization of the desk and the documents folder via iCloud, iCloud Drive was no longer completely deactivated. It should also be possible to save errors in the Photos app after editing recordings in Pro RAW format.
In addition, the bug has been fixed that the unlocking of the system settings failed despite entering an administrator password. Pressing the new globe button on the M1 Macs should now reliably display the “Emojis & Symbols” selection again.
The update to macOS Big Sur 11.2 can be downloaded and installed as usual via the update section in the system settings.
