Renders show iPhone 14 Pro in all its glory
The well-known tasty Jon Prosser has shared new renders of the iPhone 14 Pro in its YouTube show FrontPageTech. The images are based on the latest rumors and show that Apple’s flagship is undergoing a major overhaul. There will also be a new Purple variant.
The biggest change is the disappearance of the notch. Instead, Apple processes the technology for Face ID and the front camera in two holes. That once again gives the iPhone a design that is distinctly different from the competition. Moreover, with a little imagination, the notches together form the letter i, which of course stands for iPhone. In addition, the screen edges are slightly thinner than those of the iPhone 13 Pro.
Furthermore, the smartphone seems to be a bit thicker. Apple may put a larger battery in the device. Combined with a more economical chip, the iPhone 14 Pro should therefore have an even better battery life.
On the back we see that the camera island is growing again. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will probably get a new 48-megapixel camera with a much larger sensor. This allows you to take sharper photos, even in low light, and 8K video becomes possible. The corners of the screen have a slightly different curve to match the lenses.
What we already know about the iPhone 14
The iPhone 14 Pro again gets a 6.1-inch screen, although it is marginally larger than that of the 13 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. Both smartphones will be more expensive than their predecessors and run on a faster A16 chip.
The latter probably does not apply to the regular iPhone 14 and the new iPhone 14 Max model. These devices reportedly get the A15 chip that is already in the iPhone 13. The loafers also keep their famous notch.
