New OxygenOS 11 launcher is coming to older OnePlus smartphones

Android 11 will be rolled out to various devices by OnePlus. It is already available for the OnePlus 8 series. Now you can use the new launcher on your ‘old’ OnePlus.

OxygenOS 11 launcher for your OnePlus

OnePlus brings the latest version of its OxygenOS 11 launcher to previous devices. This means that the new launcher will be rolled out to OnePlus devices equipped with Android 10 with OxygenOS 10. In any case, it concerns the OnePlus 6, 6T, 7 and 7T series. The OnePlus Nord is also supported, and the N10 and N100 will follow later this week.

Not all functions from OxygenOS 11 can be found in the launcher, so you have to wait for the rollout to Android 11. The various swipe gestures and Google Discover integration are not available, for example. You can, however, use the new Shelf interface and there are various adjustments in the app drawer.

In the near future, various devices of OnePlus will be equipped with Android 11. Until then, you can use the new version of the launcher.
