New Lord of The Rings Series Coming
And we know that because, among other things, a first poster has been published of the new Lord of The Rings series, in which you can see the villain.
The films were a huge success. The spin-offs were decent. Now Amazon is coming soon with a series called The Rings of Power. To make us happy, they have published the first images.
Lord of The Rings Series
Amazon takes some time and puts a lot of money into it. According to analysts, the company is investing $1 billion in the series. This is serious money and we can expect a lot from the series. The series is ‘almost’ finished and then Amazon Prime comes with posters to show us the first images. No fewer than 23 posters have been released featuring all kinds of characters. Including the bad guy: Sauron. The series takes place before the other films. This period is called the Second Age of Middle-Earth. During this time the legendary rings are forged and Sauron comes to power.
Sauron is the great enemy. Humans, dwarves and elves compete against him. The outcome of the battle has already become known in the other films, but fans are very excited and can’t wait. It won’t be a short series either, because Amazon has focused on a production run of five (!) seasons.

Amazon Prime has posted 23 posters online. The most notable character is (presumably) Sauron. All posters are surrounded by mystery, as always with this series. You don’t see faces, just part of the body.
We’ll have to wait a while before we can watch the series. The series will be released online on Amazon Prime on September 2, 2022.
