Motorola has announced a new phone to kick off the official start of the Mobile World Congress. It is the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, a smartphone that offers high-end options and of course also comes to the Netherlands.

Motorola’s portfolio is expanded with a new high-end smartphone; the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. The phone comes directly with Android 12 and is equipped with all the necessary features. This means that you have an extensive smartphone at your disposal, which is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This is assisted by 12GB of RAM and offers 256GB of storage space.
Motorola equips the Motorola Edge 30 Pro with a 6.7-inch pOLED, 144Hz Full-HD+ display, which has support up to HDR10+ and 10-bit. Furthermore, the phone gets a triple camera, where it is striking that a telephoto lens is missing. Instead, the Motorola smartphone gets twice a 50 megapixel lens, one of which is a wide-angle. The third lens is a depth lens with a resolution of 2 megapixels. For the best selfies, you can turn to the 60 megapixel selfie cam on the front of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. You can film in 8K at 24fps.
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro gets a set of stereo speakers, along with a 4800 mAh battery. The battery of the Edge can be charged with 68W. Wireless charging is also possible, with the power reaching 15W. The phone can handle its own Ready For platform, with which you can connect the phone to a large screen via an HDMI cable, and thus get various useful additions.
An interesting accessory that Motorola offers for sale is the stylus, which allows you to make adjustments with the most precision to, for example, write a note, operate an app or edit something. A function that we know from Samsung, where it offers this with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It is currently unknown whether the stylus will also come to our country. The Motorola will be available from today for 799.99 euros. The phone will receive three years of updates, although we expect more detailed information about this soon.
