Netflix’s Marvel series will not arrive immediately on Disney+ in France

Netflix lost its Marvel series today and they will arrive on March 16 on Disney+… but not in France. This will concern a few countries initially.

We have to wait for Netflix’s Marvel series on Disney+ in France

Netflix’s Marvel series will arrive March 16 on Disney+ in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The streaming platform does not explain why other countries will not be entitled to it on the same date. We will therefore have to wait for France and the other countries.

The series are Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, iron fist, The Defenders, The Punisher and Agents of SHIELD. It turns out that the latter is already available on Disney + in France and elsewhere, but it will debut in the United States in a few days.

“As we continue to create greater value for consumers looking for high-quality movies and series, we are simultaneously responsive to these changes on the platform”said Michael Paull, president of streaming at Disney. “We have had great success in this regard on Disney+ across our global markets and we will also continue this here in the United States by offering our consumers not only great content, but also a set of features that help ensure a most suitable viewing experience for them and their family”. It refers to parental controls that are already available internationally.

It is in any case certain that this withdrawal of Marvel series from Netflix will hurt the streaming platform. Disney+ thus brings together a little more content, where Netflix loses some.
